Target Audience

This two-day course is intended for pre-hospital care providers and first receivers as well as public health responders who may be called on to respond to a mass casualty incident and / or treat victims of an radiological exposure (e.g., EMA, EMS, firefighter, law enforcement, hospital-based physicians, and nurses, social services and rural clinicians).

CME: This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of the Centers for Disease Control and Georgia Poison Center. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME®) to provide continuing medical education for physicians and nurses.

CEU: Paramedic CEU is provided from the State Office of EMS.
